 Vintage Gardens is located just two blocks from the canal, so plan to stop for some rest and relaxation as part of your itinerary.   Start or end your trip at Vintage Gardens.  For those who prefer to bike, hike or Kayak, the Erie Canal, you can enjoy the quite recreation of wildlife viewing along miles of waterway and colorful trails.  The trail system currently includes more than 150 miles of exiting trails comprised of four major trail segments: The Erie Canal Heritage Trail on the western end of the state passes right through Newark, New York http://www.ptny.org/guidebook/index.shtml

Or for those who like to take to the water, boat your way through the canal locks.

Spend some time one of the beautiful Finger Lakes, or ride along their shores. http://www.fingerlakes.org , and you'll find deep sea blue water and emerald green hillsides. This is wine country, replete with intoxicating aromas of grapes. If seeing and smelling isn't enough, take a break and sample some of the area’s great wines at some of the many wineries. There are plenty of options—the Seneca Lake Wine Trail alone offers three dozen wineries; there are 16 on the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail; nine on the Keuka Lake Wine Trail, and even more wineries on Canandaigua and Hemlock Lakes. Circumnavigating the various Finger Lakes can take anywhere from a day to a few days, depending on how often you stop to enjoy the vineyards.  Whether traveling the Canal Trail or visiting the Finger Lakes. Plan to take a few days and stay at some of the many area Bed and Breakfasts along the way.

Summer Wedding Special

 Vintage Gardens offers an elegant event venue and can accommodate an intimate wedding in our historic Bed & Breakfast. Our common areas are beautifully appointed, and provide an comfortable environment for your special event. We can accommodate garden weddings up to 150 people during the warm weather season.  The wedding couple will have the private use of Vintage Gardens Bed & Breakfast the day of the wedding and late check-out the next day. We also offer a reduced rate for your wedding guests if you choose to reserve a room for them at Vintage Gardens. 

Garden Wedding Package Includes            

*The cost of holding an intimate wedding ceremony at VintageGardens is $900 for weddings with 1-20 guests.  This fee includes time for a 2 hour photo shoot prior to wedding (date and time to be mutually agreed upon), and 5 hours total for the wedding rehearsal, ceremony and reception.  The maximum number of guests allowed is 20 people.

*The cost of holding a wedding ceremony at Vintage Gardens is $1,500 for weddings with 21 - 100 guests (weddings up to 150 people are an additional $200).  This fee includes time for a 2 hour photo shoot prior to wedding (date and time to be mutually agreed upon), 6 hours total for the rehearsal, wedding ceremony and reception.  The maximum number of guests allowed is 150 people.
